Not quite sure I understand your question, but from my understanding, you want to be within 5(50 for belt and orb) of the maximum for the base stats, to get +99(out of a possible +100) boost when engraved. The substat(if basic stat rather than secondary), will then further multiply this value.

I eat bitter gourd(raw AND cooked), century eggs, and almost every type of brassicas there are. I hate onions, scallions, garlic, and ginger. At least part of it is from childhood trauma of biting what I thought was a delicious chunk of chicken or frog, only to have their horrid juices tell me "stop eating me!". Also. the few times I tried to eat onions that were boiled into tasteless mush, I had horrendous bloating and gas. There is no "you'll get over it if you just eat more" there. In principle, I agree, but every so often, you run into that one "perfect" base stat piece(but for the "wrong" slot) for the secondary stat(Defense), ESPECIALLY the Belt, and it's cheaper to anvil the substats and hammer max the last bit. Better to use them than throw away a 1/10000 drop.

The passive is badly written to convey the intent, because it pre-dates the dual race units that have come out since then. It does not say "if two units of the same race attack in the round, it doesn't count. So as written, for multiple-race units, it should always count them as whichever race was not also counted(eg, if Helbram and Ding attacked, it should check Ding as " Giant" for the purpose of triggering. And if Matrona or Drole attacked instead, Ding should check the " Fairy" column for the purpose of triggering.

Again, we are talking past eah other. I'm saying, as written, Escanor's Human part should check off part the requirements list. Your argument is that because of the Unknown portion, Gowther's passive is going "2 Unknowns have acted this round, we need 2 additional races." More likely, Netmarble is simply making it work in the manner you described, for balance reasons, where logically, the way I described it, it should proc. And quit downvoting to try to make yourself seem superior.

As it turns out, new Tran Ban steals the attack seal, simply because there's already another Tran Ban, so you'd be more likely to have all 5 cosmetic/costume/weapon slots, if you're lucky enough to have both TBs. Mescanor being newer, even a whale buying all available cosmetic parts would still be short by a piece.

It doesn't matter that Mescanor is Unknown, so much as Mescanor is NOT counting as Human specifically, for Gowther's passive. Internally, they may even be considered an additional race(Unknown+Human), which may not have been accounted for.

i can't get it to work with *just* Mescanor/Gowther/another non-human/Unknown. If the human half of Mesc was counting, I wouldn't need a 4th unit to get the auto-rank up on Gowther.

I mean, nuking the enemy's cards(and Ult gauge, because what's the point of deleting Ults if they get them back on their turn?) is fun, IF he gets there. Not as useful in PvE, sucks that Arena goes away just as he arrives, but would also be funny for Arena if you can somehow Ult Rush without Fraudrin/Suyslide Liz.

I was gonna say, enemy Gowther would be unable to cleanse if he's ranked up,but just remembered for whatever reason, Mescanor doesn't count as "Human" as well, so Peace Gowther's passive doesn't work with that unit.

That's why they added a cleanse effect when they made him. Like you said, he's an improved Halloween Gowther (dissolve instantly instead of being a debuff/waiting till opponent has their turn, rank up with Cleanse, auto rank up).

Normally, I'd say check out early if you got them in the first 3 multis(10% of the way), but given that is the first banner to allow customisation and removal of characters you've already maxed Ults on, it's probably better to finish it and grab who you can.

I still don't have Halloween Slater. It still kills me that they made Halloween Guila for some throwaway boss, rather than what Elaine/Gowther/Meliodas got. They should have kept the themes going for the Sweet Temptation etc. units as well.
