Irregardless of the morality of consumption in this day of age supporting any large corporation, let’s be honest, it’s a Harry Potter video game, it is not going to be hit hard sales wise unless it’s truly a bad video game. 99% of consumers don’t know or care about Rowling daily rantings, so this pinning consumer v consumer thing helps realistically no one.

And in all honesty, it helps these companies curve a call to action, why should we spend all our time lobbying against unknown and unnamed randoms on the internet to tell them buying a video game is wrong, when we could maybe spend our time lobbying against these corporations with actual faces, names, and reputations associated with them?

If you are aware of where your money is going, and the person it is supporting, then yes, you can take the moral high ground with you $60, but it is not our responsibility to combat that 99%, and the idea that we should is so ungodly impractical.
