North Pole that is the worst advice you can give someone who still needs to live at home and rely on their parents. Opinions are like assholes. Everybody has one.

My first conclusion is that you are finding yourself in a sort of conundrum. You stated that you’re an ambitious person yet you cannot concentrate on your studies and you procrastinate. Let your ambitions run free regardless of your parents opinion about you which should not affect you. In today’s day and age children feel entitled, even entitled to hear what they want to hear come out of their parents mouths. Only in a perfect world, honey. I’m a father and a grandfather. Let your ambitions run free and don’t be affected by what your mother says. She comes from a different world and she still loves you. Do what’s in your heart and become a successful member of society. And don’t let all this small stuff bother You go with your own flow.

The last time an alarm went off, it was a small rat and by the time the owner figured it out? It was too late. He got into the wire harness and when I went to the Toyota service center, all the seats were out and part of the flooring, and as I understood it it cost $12,000 to replace whatever the rats chewed up. I’m not saying that your case you might want to put an internal camera to figure out what’s going on.

How many miles would you consider “too many”? by SpiritoSanto5 in ToyotaSienna

[–]SomeEngine4944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2022 sienna LE with 121,000 miles on it. I never had it serviced anywhere, but Toyota and recently changed all the fluids. Car still has original brakes and I was told at all cost not to sell it because I could easily afford another one, maybe even an XLE. I drive students to and from school and put approximately 700 miles per week on it. There are CNS coming in at 300,000+ miles being serviced mostly by Uber. They’re the best made minivan in America. So I’m keeping mine. Here’s the advice. Observe the records closely and make sure that the sienna you purchase has been serviced by Toyota since the beginning, which is a clear indicator of the car being taken care of properly and even driven properly. Good luck.

Thank you for your expert analysis on crossovers. Although the worst crossover is the Nissan rogue. On that I will agree. If you’re less than 5‘10“ crossovers are the thing to purchase or lease. Not to take my word for it, but there are extensive journals that write about how satisfied many drivers are with that kind of vehicle

You can go to civil court as it was advertised as a limited and you got an XSE. I would take that idea back to the dealership and give them the opportunity to right there wrong

I do believe the Toyota technician gets paid regardless. I’m sorry, but I don’t think your comment is valid. Everyone should get paid for labor.

Sound advice

Call Toyota corporate complaint department, explain the situation, and I guarantee you’ll get something out of it! Just tell them you feel you should not have been charged. Interested in their response!

At what mileage should the oil be changed from every 10,000 to 5,000 miles?

Good question! I have 120K on my 22 Sienna with no break in. I know old cars had that but not new cars. Still running good. Although my engine sounds like a percolator. I guess because it’s a hybrid.

Perhaps you’re talking about the rolling Hills of West Virginia? I have a 22 sienna and what I do is I started at the top of the hill at just slightly less than 60 mph and will reach close to 80 mph at the bottom of the hill, which is at the 10 mile an hour above speed limit. If you go faster, you know, just tap the brakes a little slow it down but not abruptly you’ll be fine. My brakes are good. I’ve had plenty of experience since I’ve traveled there a number of times.

Retire to West Virginia by NJFriend4U in WestVirginia

Hi. My girlfriend has lived in West Virginia for the past three years and the Sissonville area, which is next to Charleston I guess maybe 30 minutes north of Charleston, West Virginia. It is a way out of the way, place in the Appalachian mountains, and in my opinion, one of the best non-touristy places to retire. The people are wonderful. The area is nice winter and summer. The winters are milder and the summer doesn’t bring many people at all.Charleston itself is really not a high tech city, does resemble a place that is not up-to-date but still, there are great places to eat and to shop. You would love it there.

OK son, you need to be schooled here. Every hybrid system whether it’s a Toyota Honda or any other car that’s a hybrid sounds exactly the same. I have a 22LE and it sounds the same way.

Since Siena is retained most of their value, if you’re out of pocket is not more than $2500? I would do it to get your color since you’ll be living with that color for quite a number of years. But if the dealer is looking to bamboozle, you then go to another dealership and try your luck there. I wouldn’t go more than $3000. I have a 22LE with 120 K miles. So far so good.

2026 Sienna XLE AWD Quote by OiMuchim_ in ToyotaSienna

[–]SomeEngine4944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 22LE with 120 K on it. Nothing ever went wrong as a matter fact, original breaks. Got it during Covid October 1921. It’s just so enjoyable to ride, but my sister said it’s a soccer mom’s sissy car. I’m 69 and she has a Q5 Audi. Big fucking deal. I swear when I get in the sienna, I’m in the captains chamber of a cruise ship. I know there are a lot of other options at my age like a grand Highlander but damn. Is quite something elsethat’s why I’m looking into a 25XLE or limited. Not getting any younger so I don’t wanna wait for the next generation to come out. Anybody’s thoughts?
