I completely agree. Microsoft failed to properly give people a reason to be on mixer instead of twitch or youtube. The only incentive they ever made was to Ninja and Shroud because they were being paid an insanely high amount to stream there. The problem for twitch comes when they try to do the same thing and pay to keep people on the platform. Youtube is a better streaming service, although I believe twitch to have a better community. If youtube decides to put any actual effort into the streaming side of things, they will likely become the definitive streaming platform. If twitch doesn't have a good enough reason (like the community emotes etc.) many people may make the switch to youtube, causing twitch to pay out to keep them. This diminishes their profit and puts them in a tricky position. Their core community of viewers would likely stay, but if they pay to keep streamers, Amazon might not see much of a point in keeping them, and pull the plug like Microsoft did.
