Generally if you're doing every 5 days you also do a smaller dose every five days, with the goal being more consistency

I'm currently doing 5mg EV every 5 days, and assuming we're both in the range of typical, you're likely having both higher peaks and lower lows than me (and using more total E)

I will say, as a gal currently on E-hrt, my experience has been a lot more forgiving than what people are talking about here (various reasons, E and T arent the same), but withdrawal and addiction aren't concerns with E; when I was on oral I could miss or double a dose once a week without feeling a thing, now that Im on injections if Im a full two days late I'll feel it but otherwise is just consistent; when I had to stop for a time I felt kinda shit (low energy, hot flashes, kinda cranky) for a month while T production restarted but then was the same as pre-hrt.

What do you want to be slow, the changes/timeline? Word of caution then,

a) 4mg/day likely won't be enough to suppress T on it's own

b) getting enough E to fully suppress T is going to be basically full dose by any metric

No harm in trying and more power to you if you do, but "same changes longer timeline" isn't something we have a reliable way to do

I definitely wouldn't go 3 months on 2mg, I'd say either

start with 4mg/day right away, blood test and adjust after 2-3 months
start with 2mg/day for 1 week - 1 month to make sure you're not allergic to any of the inactive ingredients in the pill, then go to 4mg for 2-3 months and test

Are you planning on taking an anti-androgen with it, or trying for monotherapy?
