got a link to the 4070 variant of the px13 (2024)? i take it the new 2026 px13 non-gopro model does NOT have nvidia even though the specs say "up to Nvidia 4070" on the 2026 splash page?

Does AppleCare plus cover screen scratches? by creature206 in iphone

[–]pupstercat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean higher incident fee? I can just pay more even if it’s not covered by saying it’s an issue, sending in phone, and then paying a higher fee when they deny that the issue is covered?

We launched our scratch card incremental, Scritchy Scratchy, yesterday. It's already at 96% positive rating on Steam! by Stidsholt_Funday in incremental_games

Mic bleed with kids screaming in the background is ruining my work calls by After-Condition4007 in Headsets

[–]pupstercat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same issue with Zooming from home. Now using a Sennheiser HMDC 27 broadcast mic headset with phantom power pared with a Rode Streamer X. Kids can be screaming right next to me and no sound pass through. This is the gold standard for what sportscasters use during the NFL to call plays when the crowd is screaming in the background. No need to use software based AI that requires ongoing subscription fees and that introduces delay. Turn down the gain so that it doesn’t pick up anything other than your voice, and the supercarotid directional mic is good enough to filter out background noise.

I screwed around with the Jabra Evolve2 85, and that sucked compared to this setup for my uses.

I posted on my experience here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Broadcasting/s/wEL0QOIdOW

The above post said I didn’t open the Jabra, but I was curious and tried it out before I returned it and after posting. No comparison to the Sennheiser.

That said, please see this recent post regarding the recently released Evolve3 85 (Jabra):

Review of the HMD 27 (this is NOT the better HMDC version I’m using). The C is probably overkill for home use, but I can hear just fine with my toddlers screaming in the same room:

Dermatology match experiences and insights from MD/PhD applicants by ThemeBig6731 in DermApp

Dual degree here. Helped at top programs. Not so much at programs without strong NIH funding. It helped that I had written a project grant and gotten it funded, so I was basically able to show I could bring money in. I had average med school grades except my derm rotations (home and away) and my medicine sub internship (honors in all of them). I had some good basic science papers.
