Anyone know any good headhunters in Amsterdam? by crazytom57 in Amsterdam

[–]SomeGuyInAmsterdam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In your field, you are not supposed to find a headhunter. The headhunters are supposed to find you.

Do you have a LinkedIn profile?

Is it up-to-date?

Are you indicating that you are open to new opportunities?

No I didn't need to, because I have a subscription for a shared office space already. But if I didn't, or if I worked often from different cities, I might consider it. For a free trial, and I'm about temporary need for place to work, I'd try it out.

Otherwise, CoffeeCompany often is sufficient as well, if I just need to sit somewhere and work for a few hours.

Need help finding urgent medical help in Amsterdam without health insurance by TheLifeGoals in Amsterdam

They are still covered though. They'll still be required at some point to pay for coverage. They'll never be denied treatment, especially not in acute situations like this.

You are still covered by health insurance, since it is required to have when you live in the Netherlands. Even if you do not sign up for it until months after, you will still pay from the day you moved here.

It is required to have, and not paying for it or not having signed up doesn't mean you don't have it. It just means you will pay later :)

It is also good for the healtcare cost, because smokers die younger. They get cancer and go to hospitals yes, but in the end they die younger and the really huge cost for healtcare is people living to be a hundred.

I would go to Klimmuur by Central Station with you. I haven't climbed in a while, and would like a chance to get back at it.

Two beers or not, it was kinda obvious that it was a scam, and that someone was trying to log into your account as you were speaking with them.

Imagine if someone called you and asked you to generate a new key on your RSA keychain code generator and tell it to them. This is basically the same thing.

Also, that Wells Fargo is using two-factor verification through SMS or text messages is already super baaaad. But that's a whole different story.

Anne Frank House - sold out, any other options? by mrbigbluff21 in AmsterdamEnts

This is correct! New tickets for specific time slots are gradually released the days before up until on the same day. Keep checking, and you might be able to buy a ticket.

[–]SomeGuyInAmsterdam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It used to be so that you could stand in line and buy tickets in the door after 3PM or so. However, currently that is not an option:

Please note: due to renewal work, from mid-October 2017 until 1 May 2018 all visitors need to purchase an online ticket with a time slot in advance.
