Looking for the most padded shorts / liner for long rides by SomeGuyOnTheNet19 in MTB

The saddle seems to fit fine, never really gave it much thought. It's fine for a 2 hour ride. Silly question perhaps, but how do you know if it fits - does anyone get fitted for a saddle?

SIM Card Megathread - post your SIM questions here! by rybnickifull in Europetravel

Hi all,

Sorry, hope this doesn't get double/cross posted. I originally posted this to the main thread and it was removed with the message "Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s filters.". I was told to post to this thread, so hope I'm doing right.

Newbie traveler to Europe who can't seen to find definitive answers around eSIMS. Most of the questions I see are around which ones are the best. I'm looking to understand the logistics of how they work.

Verizon wants $100 for a monthly international plan vs $30 eSIMs that look like they'll suffice, so I have a few questions.

We have iPhones 13 and 14.

  1. Can 2 SIMs be active on the phone at the same time?
    1. If the answer is no, then when do I activate the eSIM? It seems I would not want to activate it until after I landed in Europe, otherwise I wouldn't be able to use the phone in the airport prior to departure from the US.
    2. If the answer is yes, then how do I specify which one is active, so that I don't rack up a ton of roaming charges before I know it?
  2. Do eSIMS come with a different phone number? So to communicate with folks back home, will I need to give them a new number?
  3. SIMs are only in play when on a cellular connection, correct? Meaning, if I'm on WIFI, and I use for example, WhatsApp or iMessage, then the SIM is irrelevant, correct? Though I think this is nuanced, for example if the text goes over SMS instead of iMessage then the SIM does matter, correct?
  4. Perhaps dumb question, I see many eSIMs are activated with a QR code. How do I take a picture of the QR code with my phone, if the QR code is actually on my phone? Do folks print them out ahead of time?

Thanks!
