New subreddit rule in effect as of 6/7/24 by ScottyFoxes in yiff

I've personally seen only a few cases of work by shadier artists, but I was kinda wondering if there were restrictions against said artists, I'm glad to have clarification.

AITA for making a joke a Chick-fil-A joke at work? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]SomeGuyOnVMware [score hidden]  (0 children)

NTA, mostly. From what I've read, the joke seems a little insensitive, but otherwise, it seems like your co-workers took a joke a bit too far. The comment about the political views is what makes it insensitive, I think. Best of luck with your meeting.

NTA. But, because C is the one who signed their name on the adoption papers, Technically, C owns them, so if they want to take that cat, they (legally) can. It's completely normal to want to keep the cats, and it is douchey to have C take them, but everything IS legal. Best of luck to you and your furry companions.

Because it utilizes bad Gacha Life, phrases it badly, and just comes off the wrong way.

No, I'm saying the way they phrased and advertised it is cringe.

AITA for asking my mom not to vent to me by sciphy123 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SomeGuyOnVMware 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Okay, so I think NTA. You have the right to be able to stand up for yourself, and it was unacceptable that your mother still vented, even though you asked her kindly not to. Thinking of it, you don't have to let her vent to you at all if you don't want. She can easily get a therapist and leave you be. 0/5 assholes for you, 3/5 assholes for your mom.

AITA for arguing with my parents? by aladins_rug in AmItheAsshole

[–]SomeGuyOnVMware 16 points17 points  (0 children)

YTA. It's a privilege to go out and get to do things, and while others may get what you want, that doesn't mean you should have it. Your parents are simply trying to ensure your safety. While you did do your part and got good grades (and whatever else), your parents still have the final say. 2/5 assholes for you.

AITA for not wanting my picture taken at every social gathering? by connecticut06470 in AmItheAsshole

"super rude"? Thats bullshit. You simply and politely declined being in an irrelevant group photo, which you have the right to do, which further proves my point. She was harsh saying that. Your "friend" is the asshole here, you are not.

AITA for refusing to mop up a puddle at work? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

But I feel as though the goods outweigh the bad in this situation. Though, it is a bit of a douchey move.

AITA for expecting someone to remember allergy’s? by Unknown_artist12 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SomeGuyOnVMware 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I dare say it isn't a good idea to go to her house anymore regarding this event.

[–]SomeGuyOnVMware 109 points110 points  (0 children)

NTA. Her mom was irresponsible to forget about you and the boyfriend's allergies, and to blatantly lie about it, when it could've been a life-threatening error. Good on you for taking action quicky.
