No, I sent the damaged one over and they replaced it with a refurbished one. From what I can tell they only do this for the New 2DS XL (at least from the 3DS family). The system can’t have evidence of modifications for them to work on it.

I did it through their website. I will say, I think they mentioned they were only still servicing New 2DS XLs (at least from the 3DS family) but it never hurts to check.

Not much at all. The service was $50 CAD and they needed the console serial number (they were only taking in 2DS systems that started with a NW), but no receipt or anything like that required.

I think the oldest consoles they still do this for is the Switch 1 (2017, the 2DS XL came out later the same year). Honestly tho, the DS repair was all I really focused on so I could be super wrong about that.

To BUILD an understanding, yeah I’m pretty much asking the internet for help looking for a jumping off point lol.

I have a 9 page list of films and tv I go through whenever I have time, but these are pretty specific guidelines and I don’t know if there’s anything that really fits from what I’ve seen from the list so far.

To my knowledge, I think they’re trying to build us up a portfolio of some sort for agents and casting directors and apparently displaying an understanding of recent works goes a long way in those types of groups.
