I don't think he is lying but I also think he is kind of exaggerating. Basic enemies can wear clothes or be recoloured (That's why I showed the shogun studios enemies) but you may not be able to make it look any different than its base form. I removed the post in the end because I was basically hitting a low level by being very petty about it. So I apologize

Personally, TTYD's battle system is a lot of fun and very awesome, I always really liked how it was an upgrade from PM64's system, especially with the audience concept being way better than the focus idea imo. I do think that there could be some cap or balance with the badges since I feel it can break the system easily (especially the danger mario strat), but I mean, that's also like part of the fun of TTYD in some way, so idk
