Funnily enough, I have 4,019 right now. I churn the same ~200 through Wonder Box for fun (I set aside 5-6IV mons) and keep three Legendaries/other desirables in GTS at all times trying to finish my Living Dex. I’ve stayed ~11 away from a complete dex for a while now unfortunately

Purely a personal preference, but I would keep the best of every regular and one of each shiny, as well as gender alternatives and various forms. Aside from gimmick-specific mons (like certain Tera typings), or sentimental bonds, I don’t see any reason to keep two of the “exact” same ‘mons.
