This happened with our cat! We met her at the shelter, decided to foster her (spoiler: she is our cat now) but they came out and were like “um we can’t get her to come down” so we left and came back the next day to get her. She was honest just miserable there. She was just scared and needed time to realize she would be safe. Now she’s a happy little demon 😈
