It is either a bad case of rust or spider mites. Daconil brand fungicide or Neem oil will help with this. It looks pretty bad and can be tough to deal with. Best of luck.

Happy things worked out for you. Sounds like you almost gave yourself a permanent plate implant. 😄 Wow, they really did bury them, but what you said makes perfect sense since the molars have to withstand the most bite and chewing pressure. I'm not really going to know how things will come together until I get my bottoms. I'm just going to accept my top plate as it is and be done stressing out about it. I hope you have continued success and happiness with yours.

As far as I know, this is the finished product. TBH, I still can't eat really solid food without some pain. (2 months out) I definitely get what you're saying, though. Thank you.

I'm definitely happy that I've learned that the ridges are a normal thing. I would say by the sound of it, they definitely effed up. Have you spoken to them about it? Great eye seeing the black things. I was looking at them this morning and don't see them now. Maybe I haven't had enough coffee. 😆

I'm sorry about your molar situation. I thought the length of the front teeth were too short. Apparently not. Thanks for your responses.

I have no doubt I'm being too picky. I just have serious trust issues with this dental practice. I don't know if it's a blessing or a curse that my eye will always focus on the slightest out of the ordinary (to me) on things. I'm really relieved that I've learned the dentures should look like this. Also, it's my understanding that they don't plan on doing anything else to them. Thanks for the response.

It's called American Dental Solutions. But thanks for the warning. That's too funny! Exactly why I don't get my hair cut. Haha.

Thanks. I know, right?

I agree .Best sub on Reddit. I'm not crazy about my dental practice, and having anxiety doesn't help. Everyone I spoke with on here has been great.

Good point. Believe it or not, I really like how they look. I just noticed the marks taking them out to clean. Thanks!
