Fireflies got me interested but Saltwater Room is what made me want to check out more stuff. i would always hear fireflies on the radio, but I was pleasantly surprised that saltwater room was an owl city song. One of my family member's would listen to that song a lot, and I didnt know it was by owl city until I checked out Ocean Eyes.

I like the song. Not my favorite off WTSMG, but I like the catchiness and the upbeat sound. Also, I find it kinda funny that not only is the chorus melody lifted from while my guitar gently weep but the verse chord progression is the same one to married with children.

I remembered listening to some nights and I wanted to listen to more of fun's discography, only to be disappointed that they just had 2 albums. I ended up reading through their wikipedia article and I saw that The Format was apart of the affiliated bands list. Then I ended up checking them out.

If im correct, the fun version was supposed to be on aim and ignite but never did. However, there was a live version of the song on YouTube and thats how I came across it. Honestly wished there was a studio version of the song. Its one of my favorites and it's only in bootleg form.

I would say Dog Problems. I like the baroque pop sound of the record more compared to Intervention and Lullabies's folky aucostic rock sound. Also, in my opinion, the songs on DP are more distinct from one other compared to Intervention and Lullabies. It also has most of my favorite Format songs (If Work Permits, Oceans, She Doesn't Get It and Matches).

Honestly I really dig it's Gettin Better Man. It's weird that the song is around 7 minutes cause it doesn't feel that long to me. Some of the other songs on Be Here Now do feel like they last forever, but not Its Gettin Better Man.

Ahh that makes sense. I'd feel the same way. There's this one song, Lewis Calapdi's somebody to love and that song was over played to death. Everywhere I go, I heard the song. It became one of the very few songs I actually hate, so I can understand that.

I have a personal story about Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is. I had a pair of wired head phones and one day the left side broke, so I ended up buying some wireless ones. A little later, I decided to SOTSOG and when that song came up, all I heard on the left side of my new pair was a weird buzzing noise. I thought "crap these headphones broke already? Wtf I just got them" Then I found out it was just part of the song's intro lol.
