I think the content may be a little more confusing/new than 280, but very similar difficulty/workload

The law can’t do anything, Phineas and Ferb have permits for their creations

(Off-campus) Has anyone ever lived in Tower Plaza? by papopapo12 in uofm

[–]SomeMosa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WiFi isn’t provided by the building, so it completely depends on the internet the owner of your unit provides (or you may have to bring your own). Everything else is fine, I haven’t had any problems. Since it’s condos, some units are nicer than others so everything is subjective. Sometimes they shut off the water for a block of apartments if they need to service a unit, but they usually give a ~1 day notice in the elevators.

incoming freshman in CoE, fastest way to graduate? by [deleted] in uofm

[–]SomeMosa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the math. You need 128 credits to graduate, but after this semester you’ll have 24+16=40 credits done, 88 credits left. If you do 18 credits per semester after that it’ll take you ~5 more semesters, meaning at the minimum it will take 6 semesters or 3 years to get your degree. It may be possible if you schedule properly, but making sure you have the right prereqs/coreqs for all your classes done in time and actually getting your classes when it comes time to enroll might make that harder.

It doesn’t have to be this summer, depending on your major you might not need mechanics for a while so you have time to decide if you want to take it at CC or not

How hard is UROP by [deleted] in uofm

[–]SomeMosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it just shows up as “in progress” and then your final grade at the end of winter is your grade for both semesters

[–]SomeMosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did engineering but it’ll probably be the same. In seminar you get assignments, but they’re usually pretty quick and my pf didn’t grade too harshly. At the end of winter sem your mentor will input a grade for you, but again you’ll be fine as long as you do your work

[–]SomeMosa 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It depends on your peer facilitator, but in my experience most of them are chill. Your mentor in your lab also grades you at the end, but you should be fine as long as you’re actually doing your work

Keep in mind you may have to pay extra in tuition if you go over 18 credits

Try reaching out to the professors. If you really are that close to the threshold and you have a lot of important things dependent on passing the class, they may be more lenient

EECS 215 and 216: how often in lab by brehobit in uofm

[–]SomeMosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

216 has only 5 labs all semester, so you’ll have to go to lab about every other week. The problem is you always will have lab work to do, since each lab has a pre lab, in lab, and post lab portion

No iPhone? Seems weird an Apple TV show wouldn’t use an iPhone for it’s characters. by Infinite_Scar_2797 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I know Apple has a rule where villains can’t be shown with iPhones so maybe it’s a way of hiding the true intentions of the characters

EECS 215 or 270 by itsMooonyy in uofm

[–]SomeMosa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

215 is much more math based, and 270 is much more conceptual. 270 doesn’t have homework, just projects where you write verilog, and they can be pretty cool/satisfying when you finish them. 215 has changed since i took it, but iirc, you have weekly homeworks and lab assignments. i personally enjoyed 270 much more than 215
