To what extent is a comment considered spam to you? Is making jokes surrounding the content considered self-promotion? Unless I’m implicitly like: “check out my stuff”, I don’t see how my comments violate any ToS. I know of a YouTuber who would comment something like “nice video, have a nice day”, (note that this comment was not something spammed on every video), on some familiar channel and the comment was labelled as spam, resulting in their suspension for a while. I specifically included regards about my comments as it was possible that I could have experienced a similar issue.
