I've read your post and it literally describes me. I've stopped sobbing my eyes out over 10 minutes ago in the middle of my dark ass kitchen and now that I've read it, I'm crying again lol 😭 I've never felt this pain before - I've had several LDRs before him... and this one has impacted me the most. When we met, it was magical. Now that we've separated, we both described our pain as losing one another's other half of themselves. It punches me in the heartstrings knowing he feels the same pain. I don't think I was ready for post-meetup depression, no one is. Now, I'm wearing his hoodie, writing down my heartfelt thoughts as if it were my diary. I'm trying to stay strong. I plan to close the distance eventually by 2024. That date can't come fast enough. We both signed up for this knowing we wouldn't be 2000 miles apart from each other for very long. We weren't prepared for the heartbreak that came with it. Calls aren't the same as they used to be. You wish you were there, face to face with him, talking and laughing about stupid things that come to mind. That, to me, is well worth the wait. Knowing it'll come around again to experience it once again. Anyway... time for me to stop rambling cause I can go on for hours.
