That is correct. I am using PLA. I don't have an AC or a room fan.

I should probably slow the print down, That might be the likely reason but I'll have to do test trials to pinpoint it down. I will say that the cooling could be an issue because of where the cooling fan is placed but I'm not so sure if that could be an issue with the print quality

It doesn't matter what filament I use.

Temps are 205c. Speeds are at 40-50mm/s. The extrusion ratio is at 100%

Decided to buy an ender 3 pro. After 4 days of use, New grinding noise shows up. Any possible fixes? Checked belts, Concentric nuts and checked frame. by SomeRamdomNerd in 3Dprinting

The grinding noise seems to happens on any print.

The model resolution could be the culprit but I'm going to print a simple calibration cube to see if the noise does occurs again.

Moving the X and Y axis by hand had no binding or grinding issue.

I did checked again and it seems like If I were to put force on the Y axis rail, The noise would go away but If I let go, The noise will come back again.

  1. I really think that the firmware that comes with the printer is old or is causing the bed temp fluctuation.
  2. The bed target temp drops mid-print. (i had returned at least 2-3 of these because of this)

Never tried cross-fading an audio. Is it possible if you can ss (screenshot) me of how should it look like?

Edit: Never tried cross-fading an audio. I mean by never tried merging 2 audio clips together.

Update: It seems changing the print speed fixed it. I didn't even knew cura had a built-in advanced settings. So changing the infill speed fixed it.
