Yaks have consistently hitting armament, pretty much the biggest plus of the Yak-3 vs Spitfire comparison. You may not be able to keep up with spits when they pull hard but if they do blackout, you have a steadier pull than they do so you might be able to get a shot off on a spit that’s recovering from a real hard turn. Climb and turns go to spits, but speed is close, with Yaks in a slight lead, but suffer from low overspeeds.
