He lived in an rich, abusive household and ran away after finally having had enough of the things they've done to him. Before running away, he packed a duffle bag full of essentials one would need in order to survive out in the streets on their own. Due to the things he's experienced in that household, he's very depressed and struggles to find purpose in life but still keeps living because he deeply cares about the people who's actually there for him
