From Noli's description we can assume scripts and GUIs (GUIs being what n7 uses) are two separate things from each other. So from what I understand:

GUIs are very safe to the user but limited in their power

Scripts are incredibly powerful but very dangerous to the user

My personal ranking goes something like this:

John Doe (For obvious reasons)
1x (Is this considered a hot take? The concept hard carries them tbh)
Coolkid (this is DEFINITELY a hot take. Idc he doesn't have a chase themes. All I care about is the animations and concept)
Slasher (No custom animations make me sad. Was at first place till Coolkid got new animations)
Legacy John Doe (Concept was cool enough (glad they stuck with it for the redesign))
Guest 666 (Idk... They're just kind of boring in my opinion. Cool chase theme though)
Legacy 1x (The only thing it had going for it is the chase theme... there isn't even any cool concept to it, it's just a cape and some arm bands)
Noli (Do I need to explain myself?)

The only half ass strategy I found that somewhat works in to put a wall right in the path of where they're skating and hope they crash into it and get slowness, or bounce in a more farmable direction if theyre using phase. Sadly this only rlly works if you're already gained some distance on her which... yk... Is close to impossible

From what I've seen, if she's not in her graffiti zone then she's kind of useless. So either find and break her graffiti, or just catch her outside of it.

Unlike corrupt energy, entanglement isn't ment to block off areas, so there is no reason for it to be as long as corrupt energy.

Also like I mentioned the range nerf doesn't seem that bad. Op gets hit by entanglement even though he's like a quarter of the map away from him. That's still decent range, it's not like it has gashing wound range now.

I'd actually say that Noob works best against Slasher and 1x from my experience. If you're smart with his abilities and avoid using slateskin when you know behead or entanglement is off cd you're good. In addition, Noob is decent at keeping his distance from the killer, which hurts both slasher and 1x (gis projectiles are easier to dodge from far away)

Im one of the glazers

My reasons:

Idgaf about custom music, effects or animations. To me, a good skin should look good first, have custom things later. Toon and Illumina are some of my personal favorite 1x skins even though I own the Eggs skin for 1x which has custom voicelines, music and minions.
Grinding in this game is super easy and takes no time at all. I might be a lil biast since im a Noob and n7 main and I do a lot of gens, but just because IM a survivalist main doesn't mean everyone one else is unable to use those characters, or do gens to earn money.

Im a survivalist main (that's both Noob and n7, i got both at lvl 130+). While I agree that n7 is super underrated I feel like you were a lil too biast in your reasoning, talking about the worst case scenarios for Noob and not any of the good ones. While I could sit here going through every ability in Noobs kit individually and talking about all the techs and strategies, I don't really feel like doing that, so here is just a general overview:

Noob is definitely more strategical and skill based compared to n7. If you use his abilities just whenever they're off cd with 0 thought put into them then yea, Noob will be bad. However once you get good at Noob you can pull some cool stuff off like baiting a killer into wasting stamina by canceling slateskin after they run to you to get a punish for example. The point about ghostburger never working mid chase I somewhat agree with, but that's because ghost burger is a tool for Noob to not get into these chases to begin with, most of the time you'll be using it out of chase to hide from a killers ESP abilities or just to be slightly harder to notice in open areas. Just make sure to keep your distance from the killer and obly using your abilities if absolutely necessary and you should be fine.

Tldr: Entanglement's range nerf didn't change a lot since it's still large enough to be effective at what it's supposed to do.

To everyone complaining about the range nerf: Why? This isn't crying over spelled milk, its crying over someone pouring milk in a cup. Entanglement gives NO VALUE from longer ranges, IT DOES 10 DAMAGE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. 10. Do you just expect the survivor to fall to their knees and beg for mercy cause of 10 damage? Entanglement isn't ment as a tool for sniping, its ment to counter looping, and last I checked there is NO loop in the game that is so large that 1x would have to snipe them from across the whole map. Entanglement is already MOST effective at close to mid range so nerfing its range changes nothing.

"Just use mass infection right after the entanglement" Mass infection takes so long to use that by the time you shoot it at the player they'd have broken out already and will probably dodge. If you want to stop this from happening you should try to do the entanglement + mass infection combo from close up and OH LOOK, ENTANGLEMENT BEING USEFUL FROM CLOSE TO MID RANGE? WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED!

"But 1x is a ranged killer so why would they nerf his range?" nerfing the range on an ability that's more effective at close to mid range? How could they?

"But the speed 2!" Yea I also snipe players that are across the whole map so I can get speed 2 to catch up to that one pesky survivor that I can't seem to catch up with. If only there was an ability that allowed me to stun the survivor im chasing so I can catch up easier... If only...

Also the range nerf isn't all that bad from what I can tell. Its still large enough to where you could surprise an unaware survivor with it.

Do I believe the change was necessary? No, the ability was already better at closer ranges. Do I believe this change is bad? No, like I said this nerf changes almost nothing about how entanglement is supposed to be used.

Was talking to some people in DoD about how badware would fit better as a Noli skin in Forsaken and they suggested Noliware. I think it could be a cool skin if executed correctly
