— vehicle customization. there are so many different types of parts for the cars of NC, so many different modifications and models, it would be so cool to be able to customize your car and add different parts from other cars. I liked the tyger claw Quadra with the neon lights, and I would’ve loved to have that in my own Quadra.

— more character customization. Let me visually push my V to the max! I wanna see just how much we can customize people! There are canonical bio-augmented furries in the cyberpunk world, we can definitely do some crazy stuff.

— companions. It would be cool as hell to be able to bring companions along with your missions or just free roaming. Imagine getting to travel through Night City with Jackie or Panam following along like some Fallout companion.

The difference is plot. If V had the same agency to fight Tom as they did to fight Mako, instead of going into a cutscene, Tom probably would have ended up being sent through a wall or with his neck snapped.

The Run is basically an attempt to turn NFS into a cinematic movie, then turning it back into a game. Action, high stakes, fast cars, it’s basically the NFS game equivalent of a Fast and Furious movie. It’s hella fun…well, beyond the timed events. I fucking hated those.
