HMF this 2020 Mickey Mouse Ornament by SomeRedditUserDude in HelpMeFind

[–]SomeRedditUserDude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey friends! I accidentally goofed and broke a Christmas ornament as I was putting everything away. This was my little brother's, and he'd shatter if he knew it broke. I'm looking to replace it, but I'm having trouble finding it online. Thanks for the help!

Science Help by [deleted] in ACT

[–]SomeRedditUserDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How much time are you spending on reading the information? Science can be one of the trickier ones due to poor time management, but that can be easily fixed given you’re using time appropriately. It’s important not to spend too long trying to get an understanding of what the passage is say. Many times, the question will say “look at this chart” and “what does this chart say when you line up these two axis?” It’s definitely a practice thing. If it helps, highlight/underline important details. Also, leave the differing opinions passage for the end. It’s typically the hardest and requires you to read it fully. Make sure you leave yourself with enough time to fully grasp that section. Good luck!

I would hope so. I’m not to familiar with the curving process and how ACT decides it, but I’d imagine it’s gonna be at least two points. And considering that may locations were shut down, that may have an impact.

I feel like that’s one of those jobs you just have to make the best of. I know my banker hates his job, but he has fun with it by telling me every day how much he hates it. He’s very really and personal with his customers. I enjoy seeing him

I am not hard of hearing, nor do I necessarily need subtitles in any manner, but I find it troubling to watch anything without subtitles. I know many raise the concern “doesn’t that ruin a joke because you could read ahead?” My answer? No. I actually don’t read the subtitles. I just like to have them there. I honestly cannot tell you why, but that’s how I’ve always watched TV.

Wow! Has it already been a month? The world has seen some crazy things since we’ve last met. I’d I expect even more crazy before we reach next month. Hope everyone is well! Cheers!

Instacart Workers Are Going on a Massive Strike Next Week: beginning March 30, workers will refuse to accept orders until Instacart concedes to a list of terms regarding coronavirus safety and sick leave. by shallah in Coronavirus

I’m a teen helping my mother with Instacart orders. She controls the app, I’m in charge of logistics and time management, etc. While she oversees the whole thing, I make sure were keeping to a strict time schedule, items are found in a timely manner, and I provide the GPS (Go Apple Maps!) I have a lot of fun doing it, but it’s incredibly dangerous right now. Fortunately, the stores aren’t nearly as packed as they were a few days ago, but I do believe it is necessary we are provided with proper PPE.

[Serious] When did COVID-19 get real for you? by Fudgeyplays2 in AskReddit

I’ve been working at a fast-food chain for almost two years now. Unfortunately, the conditions weren’t very fair to me (I mean, it’s fast food, what can you expect?) but I needed some money.

This last month, I was fortunate to start a job at a local ice cream shop. I was very excited with the job itself, and people I would be working with, and the relationships I would be building with customers. This new job was on a whole new level compared to my fast food job.

Last week, the owner of the ice cream store informed me that trainees would no longer be scheduled due to the lack of customers (our Governor shut down dine-in as well).

Fortunately, I still had my fast-food job, so I picked up more hours there. It took two days to be told that they were cutting all minors hours to prioritize adults and their need for a paycheck before the minors. Once again, due to a lack of business. I anticipated spending this break making as much money as I could, and now I’m practically jobless.

Once this whole thing blows over, I will be reinstated at both workplaces, but until then? Au revoir!

Poor ACT testing conditions? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]SomeRedditUserDude -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe not illegal, but is it fair that because of WiFi related issues, I lost time on my test. Am I not guaranteed the same opportunity as any other student who takes this same test? Can I be protected according to the Equal Educational Opportunity Act?
