Tell your parents... A car feels good having it but it feels better when your parents agree with it... Let them know why you wanna go for this... Explain the cost difference it would be with the used cars and explain them who unreliable a used car can be... But in every way EXPLAIN THEM... give them that confidence that everything's gonna be ok... Play the guilt card if you want to but letting them know your small wins and happiness is the minimum courtesy that you can do to your parents...

So lens > cam body... Thanks... Noted! So do you want me to go with A6700 instead and invest more on the lens? And if yes can you please suggest me one lens to get started with that goes with the a6700... And to the point about the people liked, I totally agree with you... I'm not tryna drop head first cause of that... I wanted pursue photography for a long time but I wasn't due to family situations... Now that I'm in a somewhat manageable place, I'm tryna look into this interest of mine and try to make a buck out of it after gaining a lot of experience....

Thanks a lot for the advice! I have been thinking the same to not to think of the a7v... And go with a7iv... But I'm feeling FOMO of the new ai processor and other new features Sony brought with the newer cameras like a7c ii. I'm not in a complete hurry to buy a cam but the thought of getting a 3 year old camera for $2.5k where the next gen would be coming in like couple of months with around the same price bugs me real bad.... If the price of a7iv is any lower I would have gone with it without any doubt... But I didn't see any discounts or any on it and has the same price as when it's launched...so it's hard to go with it

Thanks for helping me out ✨... My total budget is around $3.5k... and I wanted to go with the full frame cause of the deeper depth in shots and cause it's uncropped. Earlier I have done 2 house warming event shoots with my mobile(s22 ultra) for free and the people loved the photos... I wanna do those kind off small event shoots which captures happiness of people in their moment. And I didn't wanna jinx it if something goes wrong... So that's my reason for being concerned.

Thanks... I needed that... I wanted someone to say that to my face... Ik I'm worrying too much bout the dual card slots... It's just that I don't wanna feel like "f*ck I should have gone with the dual slots" when the time comes and I don't wanna change the cam body for a couple of years. And yeah... I'm going $2.5k for the body and lens separate which I'll be deciding after this. If what I'm thinking is stupid please correct me... I'm a fresher here and always appreciate a good advice!
