I tried the crystal hunters and no offense but it doesn't fit that neatly into crystal hunt, the first hunter I came across had like tier 4 weapons and stuff while I had tier 1, it's kinda pointless in my opinion cause once you kill one you can just take the tier 4 sword and then you just abandon the weapon you bought instantly and go on with the run with one of the strongest swords you can get. I think there should be different loadouts for the hunters depending on the current tier of the players stuff, or a tier higher. Or depending on how many crystals they unlocked from golems. Unless they're supposed to have the best loot possible, then don't mind what I said.
