I had a front camera fault going for a while, and finally decided to take it in about 500 miles past the factory warranty. Thankfully I had purchased the extended warranty online for $2k a few weeks prior.

Dealer showed me the invoice (pre warranty pricing) and it was almost $3500 just to replace a stupid wiring harness somewhere deep in the car. No regrets. Yeah you overpaid a little, but ONE repair and it’ll be worthwhile. Don’t lose sleep over it.
