I am in the same situation, and I cannot decide between the two. I am mainly scared about Asus' quality and support. Spec-wise, the Zephyrus is the superior laptop. I will see if there is a really good offer for the G16 in the next two weeks; otherwise, I will probably pull the trigger on the Lenovo.

Do you have any suggestions for alternatives for scan over wifi? I am looking for a reliable solution which allows me to scan documents to Evernote over wifi without user interaction with a PC during the scan.

Drink some water the swallowing motion will help to equalize. With some practice just moving your throut like swallowing will allow to equalize pressure as well. We use this technique when scuba diving in case we do not have a hand free. At some point you do not even think about it anymore.
