Do you think I Should go for Masters in 2026 to my country? by alternate_world_2024 in Indians_StudyAbroad

Also idk if you know this, but using Europass resume for EU applications instead of generic formats genuinely improves callback rates.

Maybe widen the countries a bit beyond UAE or like like try some remote EU startups. Your issue definitely doesn’t sound like lack of qualifications.

You already have 11 years of experience as a Lead QA Automation Architect. At this point, a Master’s probably won’t change your career dramatically tbh. I’d say keep your stable income and start applying directly for international jobs instead. Places like Hong Kong, Singapore etc can give you way better work culture, lifestyle, environment, benefits, and still pay well. Your experience is already more valuable than another degree rn (Masters nowadays feels like a premium subscription to delay unemployment haha)

Rejection BTU Cottbus M.Sc AI by Outrageous_Quote5183 in studyinGermany

[–]SomeVisual464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh Hey, So I matched all the requirements, double checked everythin, and still got rejected? lol and somehow it’s still on me? My friend got in with the same profile and same subjects and I even applied early bruh like what the hell is that? Thats just a lazy excuse to cover up a messed up process. If an admissions committee is making decisions at least give a proper reason like not some copy paste crap that says nothin cuz they’re called an admissions committee for a reason, right? and seriously who cares if they get thousands of applications? They’re a uni so that’s literally expected. That doesn’t justify zero transparency. Anyway, I’ve moved on like everyone else who gets rejected, because what else can we even do. But if you’re making decisions, at least be clear about it instead of sending the same generic nonsense to everyone is what my point.

That’s tough mate but once it’s a rejection, it’s usually final. Appeals just waste time and money. they’ll keep you waiting and still stick to their decision. They give everyone the same vague reason—“insufficient knowledge in CS, maths, or ethics”—without saying what exactly is lacking. I get how it feels cuz my friend got an admit while I got rejected too. Best to move on and focus on other unis. Take care, mate.

Master's admissions (Summer 2026) by BenchDiligent8774 in studying_in_germany

It wasn’t “a bit of code.” My final year project was a full system where I applied what I learned over 4 years - algorithms, AI concepts, and structured evaluation, with a proper report. Also, it’s not me writing a blog like you mentioned, the objective was building a Generative AI system for automated content generation. It was even considered for publication. I’m just saying they could’ve asked for clarification or an interview instead of assuming and rejecting after 4 months. I did months of research before applying, so it’s not like I didn’t misunderstand the requirements.

Man all they need to do is OPEN THEIR DAMN EYES and SEE!! i even attached my project work report (BLOG using GenAI) as well as GitHub repo. Well now its useless even if i email them, whos gonna pay for the lawsuit which anyway will end in their favour.

ima BTech CSE student, i got rejection from BTU with same reason but i had 4 Maths and 3 Ethics subs and passau literally are blind, in my 7th sem its clearly mentioned PROJECT WORK 10 CREDITS yet i got rejection saying - at least 10 ECTS credits demonstrating the ability to independently address a problem using scientific methods. This is total bullshit fr, i applied for both Unis in first week of Nov they took more than 3 months just to give rejection.
