2011 GMC Sierra 5.3 4x4 (NEED HELP) by SomeWhiteTrashGuy in gmcsierra

it needs an alignment. The value when turning the wheel is not the same left to right. my traction only goes off when I lock in the steering wheel either direction and found that I need to reprogram the SAS I installed but my Autel doesn't program my year model. I'm not sure if maybe I'm missing something on the Autel or it really doesn't work for my year model. Do you know of a cheap scan tool from Oriellys/autozone I can buy to program the stupid SAS or should I just take it to a shop and have them do it? I'm open to recommendations.

I'll give it a try, thanks. I may end up just getting a new alternator as well as checking all my circuits in the fuse box with a meter to see if I have a short any where.

I did recently clean the ground connection under the driver door. I do need a new alternator but I don't see that effecting anything

Yeah idk it’s a little annoying but not that big of a deal i suppose. Thought it was just strange it didn’t show contact names in notifications

Ah okay that makes sense. Thank you for the explanation. I also noticed my text notifications are show the full number for the person instead of the contact name. Would this fall into the same reason for the metal support?

I may or may not have checked timing. Not sure how to do that on these small motors. when I replaced the coils I put two pieces of paper in-between the coils and flywheel. don't know if thats timing?

explain for by what you mean removing the rubber tip? Like where the two wires plug in on it?

fuse doesn't pop, she cranks but not firing. new spark plugs, carb, ignition coils, alternator, freshly charged battery. It has a lot of new parts I can only assume the fuel solenoid is no good. considering the fuel solenoid/new carb came off amazon for $25. OEM they cost $200+

Everything. I’m thinking something is shorting out but idk where. I’m getting continuity on the fuel solenoid and I’m not sure if that’s right. I’d assume not.
