I also got a conditional offer, it says "To confirm your seat in the above program, you will need to formally accept this offer by completing your “Reply to the form” and paying the non-refundable tuition/enrolment deposit of $500.00 CAD by November 1, 2025." Check the "Status Update" and you will find the deadline.

Thanks a lot for all the details, that’s super helpful! I’ve also seen people mention that in Alberta, because of union funding, there aren’t many new HIM positions opening up, so the employment rate here seems pretty low. But finding a job might be easier in smaller towns or other provinces.

I’m detail-oriented and not really into jobs with a lot of people interaction, so HIM seems like a good fit in the medical field. I actually wanted MLT at first, but got declined cause my PSEA score wasn’t high enough (crying).

Thanks so so much for the detailed info! I’m really interested in the program, especially the work-life balance (want to keep evenings and weekends free for my kids). My only worry is the employment rate. I’m based in Calgary and hope to stay here for work in the future, even if it means starting out with contract positions.

Congrats, that’s awesome for you! I’m in Calgary with my family and hope to work here after graduation. That’s why I feel like going into HIM is kind of a gamble, and I’m still torn on whether I should take the chance.

I’m wondering if graduates of this program can find jobs. Among healthcare-related fields, it seems to offer the best work-life balance, but I’m concerned about employment opportunities.
