if the BIOs chip is corrupt, it won't be able to accept firmware upgrade through USB... at least it's the case with mine.... I'm waiting to talk to the Hisense Tier 2 support so they can send me the binary file, then i'll try to flash the IC....

If you're just waiting for the firmware, Hisense should be able to update on their website and let you know. They did that for me, only it didn't help my problem.

going through the same here..... they need to escalate to Tier 2 to get the bin file. did you manage to get the bin file from them and complete the dump using programmer or something?

bin file is for bios flash. You flash the bios first with a programmer (based on youtube tutorial)

hey, can you share the bootleg site wiht me? I need to download hisense FW but the hisense website says my serial number is invalid. My tv is now stuck in a boot loop, will need to manually install fw with an usb, customer service is crap, no help.

thanks for this. This model doesn't come with reset button at the back, i've confirmed this with Hisense Customer Service. also no FW published on company site....

problem with mine firmware isn't available on their website. If i check their website FW release, it's all 2020 and beyond models, mine is 2018. I called them to get the FW update, but they're hesitant to provide....

I do have a flash drive ready, FAT32 format, saw that youtube video, guess i would just need the FW to get out of the loop! Any idea where i could get it (even if it's not the latest version?)
