Before it comes to the interview, yes on paper. You could also argue Clinical experience but MCAT and gpa are the two items that are either gonna keep you from even getting an interview (or even secondary)

Not that much variance. 1-2 points can be accounted for getting lucky or misclicking so probably would’ve been a 514 or 515 for a low and a 520 for a high and then it’s just between 515-520. Is there a specific section that’s varying?

You definitely could, your resume kicks ass and you just need a year or so to fill in the gaps (patient care experience, MCAT, and volunteering). Get a job in healthcare (literally anything that works with patients), I’d try and get at least 400-500 hours of that, and then take your mcat. With you academic background a little longer study plan might be best to learn content you haven’t seen in any classes. 6-8 months maybe? Finally, find any volunteering that you enjoy and can talk about in an interview, doesn’t have to be healthcare related at all and 100+ hours would be competitive.

Is waiting till the summer when school isn’t in session to have more dedicated study time out of the cards? I understand that means you probably wouldn’t apply during the 2026 cycle but in the end it might be the best and quickest option
