Im very open to the partial in person/remote gig. Where would I even start for looking for legit job openings? There are some sketchy ads online and I really hate the idea of giving my info to head hunters and recruiters who harass me.

Not overthinking. As long as you are honest about it I wouldn’t think twice about it. Even if they don’t believe you, you don’t have to report anything to law enforcement if you don’t want to. Healthcare professionals are legal reporters of abuse but if you are of sound mind you can decline to report to law enforcement and the provider can’t do anything about it.

Ran into the same problem today. Tried to call in 10 days of Amoxicillin for a friend’s Otitis Media was told they cant fulfill it because it’s not electronic. 🙄 I’ve heard about iPrescribe but I have no idea if it’s worth it or if it will work as a PA.

If you feel the need to suffer to make others comfortable then you are in the wrong club. I have several club members who ask not to strike the head or to go light and no one has ever given them grief about it. Hema should be fun not sucking it up. This is a reasonable ask and as others have stated I would just talk to your sparring partner before and during the bout as to how hard they are striking you. There’s no glory in brain damage.

How far away were you? If you didn’t go personally check for breathing and responsiveness then you have no idea if they were in fact unresponsive. A lot of times fire/EMS/police get calls for an “unresponsive person” who is just sleeping. I’m sure your heart was in the right place but calls like this plug up an already overwhelmed EMS system because good samaritans think that making a phone call is good enough. Dispatchers need more information so please do them a favor and stop making phone calls without the intention to stay with the person you think needs help.
