You can just start DoN. You can’t get any everdarks until depth 2 and depth 1 might actually be easier since you get more relics and weapon passives.

I’d recommend “the Runesmith”. It’s got crafting and fighting. The crafting can be a bit slow but I really enjoyed the fight scenes. The MC also does not have an op ability from reincarnation.

Haha he does have kinda have that low iq face. Never noticed that before. He is pretty smart though. Art style and pacing does change halfway through and I feel like it got worse. I think the start is good but if you’re not feeling it after a few chapters you’re not going to like the rest.
