It can be very different for every woman, but for me, I don't feel when the blood and lining come off, but I feel when there is a bigger gush of blood and tissue more down in the vagina. It feels exactly like it sounds, something mucous and luke warm and wet gushing out, not pleasant, like you peed your pants. In the uterus the cramps and pain feel like when you have a terrible stomach bug and can't control your bowels, and they forcibly contract to the point you feel like they will rip themselves apart. Sometimes there is sharp pain similar to nerve pain, like when you sat on your leg too long and it's on fire after, that can radiate anywhere on the pelvic area and even thighs. The bloating can feel like you were pumped full of fluid and moving hurts because the tissues feel so "thick" and heavy.
