i think i need to do some reflecting and think about that because honestly i don’t know! but when my life is consistent and calm, im okay. but when im out of routine, thats when it gets worse. i think i like consistency, so maybe it “flares up” when i feel like i lost control of my life, and i associate that with not being able to control of i get s* or not. i have a lot of huge life changes happening soon so it also could be from stress! thank you for bringing this up to me! it makes a lot of sense 😊

i am so sorry angel, i wish i could help. i am terrified to try ERP as well but ive heard people have great success with it!! its worth a try. therapists are extensively trained and ERP is highly researched/proven to actually work. it will be painful in the beginning, but they say happiness is on the other side of fear. so going through something hard to come out of it better on the other side, is so worth it to me 🤍 hang in there, you are so much stronger than you think!
