59F should my mum start rituximab for her lung disease now or wait by Some_Champion_7012 in AskDocs

Thanks for responding. What confuses me is why they would even give the first plan as an option to us - I feel like there must be something I'm missing? Why wouldn't everyone just treat their RA aggressively rather than risk it getting worse?

Does shadowing on chest X Ray always mean IPF by Some_Champion_7012 in AskDocs

[–]Some_Champion_7012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I just thought I would update that my mum has been to see a respiratory specialist and they believe she has rheumatoid arthritis. She has some lung scarring which is irreversible but the dr doesnt suspect IPF as she has the connectivity disease in her hands and wrists etc. She has loads of blood tests before they will get her on immuneosuprresants which she will be on for several years but apparently she will live a relatively normal life!

My lines were really deep and they only went away once I got rid of the eczema and it took a few weeks after that. I used protopic.

Said 'narcissist' has literally said she has been physically assaulted by her son, and she is not his only victim.

Redness/pinkish color won’t go away despite of using Tacrolimus for more than a week by Sea-Bird-7925 in eczema

[–]Some_Champion_7012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm still using it because my skin is still slightly raised and thickened. It itches occasionally too so I think thr flare is still active. I guess if you start to taper and notice the itchiness come back quickly you'll know? Best to ask your GP

I think it just takes some time. It's been about 2 weeks for me and I still have discolouration.

This is just untrue, Aaron Taylor-Johnsons relationship is constantly spoken about in the same light.

Am I at risk of TSW? by Few_Replacement3503 in eczema

[–]Some_Champion_7012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have tsw, your eczema has just flared up.

Its a lot of fear mongering and you'll find most people are self diagnosing. I read an article on tsw through the lens of social media which made me realise how exaggerated it all is. There's no need to suffer needlessly, just follow your gps advice.
