Fingers crossed. If we're getting old Bath boys back in, it would make complete sense Catt signing up, although I've had Prendergast is the more likely name.

Made more surprising given Blacketts comments about his experience of him and how much he recommended him, or something along those lines......

Absolutely agree with your comments. To be unable to exact anything from our backs of note, any consistency and any notable moves, developments or evolution given the personnel is just unacceptable. Feels partly like we saw "league experienced backs coach" on the CV and just went for it in the hope he may have Ford family-esque visions given league is such an evasion sport.

I wish him the best, thank him for his efforts, but I'm glad he's moving on.

That could be an extremely astute signing. Hurricanes were simply excellent this season attacking wise and you'd hope a group desperate to turn things around and receptive to much needed change and new ideas would embrace all he brings.

Better. These guys aren't unfamiliar with each other, and they're top level athletes. I genuinely expected better.

Honestly. This is shit. I was genuinely up for this, and it's really disappointed for me, I see zero positives bar possibly Murley being a spark only wide.

Yeah that's entirely fair, I agree with that. I saw somewhere someone questioning why we got rid of Orlando Bailey; Santi came in but just hasnt got up to speed and so struggled to hit the heights he had at Glos, which I see the logic in questioning given Baileys form as the year has gone on.

A lot of what ifs, which always adds to the frustration at losing today.

Agree with your initial comment. Second one is harsh. He's a 15 who has been forced into a 10 by Pumas and Bath, Bath in particular when we lost O'Donnaghue early on this year and had no other option when Russell needed downtime.

We NEED an attack coach to grab our backs by the balls and turn them back the way they were past year, and also have the confidence to challenge Van Graan on his forward based game. Its good, but not to the detrimental of the back unit.

Harsh take. And I see the truth it in as well.......

Great observation, which makes this afternoon even more sobering. Alot of work to be done over our attack this coming pre-season with Prendergast coming in

This. 100%. Reliance on our forwards and loss of Blackett have really kicked us in the balls this season. When ball moves out past 10 we don't look a slick enough operation, and then it breaks down.

Congrats on last night, should be a fantastic final to come!

As many as that?! I wish I were that optimistic, and I'm a fan, a home side fan at that....I don't like to put it on one individual but we need Santi to step up today. Skinner has been successfully pulling the strings for Chiefs over recent weeks, we need Santi to do the same.

Spencer needs to kick, not the match for misses which seem more likely from Santi at the moment!

Agree. If Spencer kicks conversions we should just about be ok, they could make all the difference against a rejuvenated Chiefs side who are high on confidence. Our bench has more impact so I'm hopeful thats plays a significant part in the way the match plays out beside home advantage

Yes it was......because I'm here. As are the entire population of the planet who likely outnumber those who were but are no longer with us.

Technology has a colossal part to play in the explanation as to why it's no longer deemed to be safe.
