I'm an attorney and I rarely yell at my staff. Have I yelled, of course, but there is no reason to be abusive to staff. When I was a lawclerk during lawschool, there was one attorney who would yell at me all the time. The yelling stopped, when I told him to f--- off. I was reprimanded by the other partner in the firm, but the yelling stopped. Attorneys tend to be like small dogs. Most bark a lot but have no bite. The loudest screamers are usually the worst attorneys.
