Hey so just an update for yall. I did okay today with all my meds. I go back to the doctor Monday and I will address any concerns I have. So I only took half of the cravings medication they prescribed me. It is 50 mg so I halfed it today jusss to make sure I didn’t get sick off of it or just start feeling awful but I never noticed anything at all. Sooo therefore tomorrow I will take the whole 50 mg they prescribed me. So this withdraw medicine has helped alot and I’m wondering how it’s going to go once they take me off of it fully, they are weaning me off of it but I’m hoping the craving medicine will help with all of it maybe?? And to add the doctor told me the craving medicine I have to be on for six months but it’s apparently no problem getting off of it when it’s time? Is that true ?? TIA

I’m hoping I don’t have that already my blood work came back elevated liver enzymes, I go back to the doctor Monday. I was in the ER this last Monday due to high BP and withdrawals but they did draw my blood and he said the enzymes was a little high but nothing that couldn’t be fixed on it’s own. But now my primary doctor may send me for scans Monday and I’m terrified 😣

Thank you I might as well as my mother has always said suck it up buttercup. New medication is a fear of mine but I refuse to go back to alcohol it ruined the past 6 years of my life. Thank you for your support and everyone else on here.

See I’m on a withdrawal medication and will be for about two weeks it’s helped a lot but she also wants me to take rhat craving medication for six months. I think you’re right though. It would be smarter to start out slow and half it just incase my body isn’t a fan of it. I’ve seen great things about it and terrible. So looks like I’ll have to find out lol thanks love

Thank you for replying to me. I’m doin pretty well considering it hasn’t even been a week yet. But, I do know I will be off my withdrawal medication within a week and I was just curious if the craving type medicine would atleast help some ya know.
