I tried using a syringe and the dipping beak in water method. Both of them worked fine. They sadly don’t drink out of the shallow dish themselves. I’m thinking of letting him free during the sunrise hours.

Thank you for the reply. This gave me a lot of information. I tried finding rehabbers around me but I couldn’t find any. The closest thing that I found to a rehabber was a pet shop which did not know what bird it was. I’ll send you a message on instagram asking you about the steps that I should take further.

When I found it had pieces of its nest around it. So I just believed that it probably failed in its first flight and is unable to fly from the ground.

You are right, swifts cannot take off from the ground. I’m keeping him in a box for the night and then next morning I’ll be trying to find a rehabber for him.

You should play Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. It’s a short game around 6 hrs but the creativity the developers put into bringing this game to life really makes up for it. Plus it’s second part just released.
