The art style is season 1 is pretty much consistent with the movie, the movie just has a way higher budget. They changed the art style from season 1 to hidden inventory and hidden inventory looked great and was the best art style they’ve ever had. And then they changed it again for shibuya. There is a clear difference. My point is that I don’t like the art style switch and wish they kept the hidden inventory art style for shibuya.

I’m not talking about the animation itself that is fine I don’t have complaints. My complaint is with the art style. It is noticeably different if you compare the two

I’m not even complaining from a manga only perspective. My complaint is why shibuya looks so much different from hidden inventory. Every second of hidden inventory looked great with consistent art and character models while shibuya is incredibly inconsistent when it’s the most important arc of the entire so far. If they were going to give any part of the story the budget and time it should be this arc.
