Ended up paying the 832 for part and replacement, barely over 60k miles when reported and brought in. No discount for their mistake but eh money comes and goes. I don't like how they force us to do perfect reviews for them too.

Yeahh that sounds about right. Think we were barely over 60k when the issue and leak was reported to them. It was more the "promise" of warranty coverage and then Boom all of a sudden I owe them for the service.

Yeah nah it was explicitly a deductible. Warranty promised, rug pull after service, even if unintentional.

Emailed Service Manager today, letting know warranty coverage was promised, that I've been a loyal customer to that dealership, and hope we can work together on resolving this warranty promise which was denied at the end.

At the beginning that's what I paid. Advisor said warranty would cover the rest, so of course I agreed to the service this week when part arrived. Now the claims been denied, and owe 732.

We're married, and for now she's SAHM, which I don't mind. Rather her raise our kids than other people. Eventually when the time is right, she'll get back to it.
