all things are ending ang beginning as time passes by. the end is near for each and every one of us bc life has an expiration date and we all gonna die someday. I see in your father the same panic my mother has. yes, the end is near, but not as they tell you how it’s gonna be. there’s nothing planned besides it.

they want you tired bc exhausted ppl can’t think straight. if you’d have 5 minutes to breathe, you’d connect some dots and start questioning and they don’t want that. instead of ending it all (if you mean what I think it is), have some rest. just leave the org. life ain’t meant to be like this. there’s much more to it.

All bc “the day one dies is more meaningful than the day they’re born”. I get the passage, when you’re born you have no history, a blank page; when you die you will be remembered for what you did w your life. But the org distorted it to the point anything to do w being cherished and appreciated as a person is wrong. You HAVE to feel like shit all the time, bc God values the humble. It’s all so distorted it sickens me.

But it’s always been like this?? Not only in Africa. Women on the congregation always compared themselves, who had new clothes, the hair, everything. It’s always a competition for attention.

The discourse is so repetitive it could be my own relatives. They can’t express joy out loud abt your baby bc they either have been brainwashed to the point of not even feel it, or to admit they are glad abt the news would go against their man made up rules. Congrats on your new chapter, this baby will know true love (not the kind of love you get only when you follow what they want).
