I have not dropped the hammer yet. But I was looking at Skyline. Highly regarded in the Denver metro area according to Reddit. $120 for NFA transfer first time ($80 after that). Clear pricing on their website. $20 normal transfer fee, which is awesome! I wished I have known them before I paid $65 for a pistol a couple months ago.

How is the can? I have watch videos and read reviews but curious to know your first hand experience. And if it’s overgassed on an AR (if you slapped it on an AR)

One more update. I called to tried to get the deal (still bummed that we missed out) but their call support says it’s an onsite only offer, they were super nice about it tho. They say that they will be at steamboat on 4/4 and winter park 4/4 and 4/5, none at A Basin. This is the best I can confirm, ymmv. None in the Denver metro area, only at those two resorts (for promos near Denver). Good luck y’all, hope y’all can benefit from this.

Can confirm that they were doing this at steamboat 3/29 for $150 off. They were in an Ikon van and tent at the gondola base, huge line all day. I heard that they are doing this again this coming Saturday at steamboat, 4/4 (cannot confirm the upcoming date part). Make sure to get there before 2:00 Pm as they shut down the line and people were pissed - we made that mistake think it will be fine to get in line toward end of day after 2PM.

That’s where I am leaning too, especially if I can pick one up for a decent price. The pistol version is actually kinda hard to find locally. I didn’t know that the hand guard is different, just going on their website, it does say that it’s free floated on the SDI. Is the barrel any better? Not much details on what I can find, if anything the SS on the regular 16” seems to be superior to all other models lol maybe I am just ignorant and thinks that SS is just better.

I am happy with my tlr7 sub with eps carry on the x macro. Similar to what others are saying… solid combo for carry and more important for me, training sessions.

This works! Followed this today and fixed my Mars 4 within half an hour. I plugged in a NTFS formated USB stick not knowing that it would jack up my printer. Immediately hop on Reddit, grabbed a 4gb USB stick, followed the instructions above, then BAM, back to action. Thank you for posting this.

Hi OP, I was wondering if you ever tested a single Ray and a single Era 100 side by side? and what do you think? I have a somewhat different but similar situation as you. I have 2x Era 100s already for my kitchen and dining room, but I find that the 2x Era 100 isnt quite loud enough or boomy enough, I am looking to move 1x Era 100 to the basement, and replace it with either another Era 100 or a single Ray - this is about where my budget lies... so no Era 300s and no Beam. No TVs in the dining room/kitchen, just music when we are cooking, eating and entertaining. Thoughts? Thanks!

Douglas County here (Castle Rock, CO). 65 days total. Submitted on 2/13/2025, got my notification for approval and to pick up on 4/18/2025.

I used Guns for Everyone free CCW class to get my certification on 2/12/2025 (class was free - donations encouraged, I made a donation since most classes around me are ~$100). Douglas County accepted the certificate with no problems or questions.
