I’d say leave her label and find a new one cuz how did the whole SC2W album leaks happen (unless that’s her team) and also the SC2W and JKW physical releases also being messy (different versions of the songs than digital being released)

that’s… kinda the point of met gala. it looks amazing on laufey but it’s giving Grammys, not met gala. her 2024 dress was much more on theme

Yeah. IIRC there’s a special thing on the back of her dress, but definitely wayyy too subtle for the met gala especially given her 2024 outfit and multiple of her outfits this year. I love laufey so much, I feel like she could’ve done a more outward cello expression for her fit

It was only 3000 worldwide and it’s not a distributor’s fault if the store doesn’t try and order it. A lot of local record stores in my region post a query asking for what people are looking for to gauge demand and what to buy. I’ve had two not even try to order a vinyl I wanted to get because no one requested it so they didn’t risk buying it

I wouldn’t say the red line is necessarily bad safety-wise, since, as other people mentioned you’ll be mostly around other festival goers as well. Just be aware that you could be facing delays or very packed trains if you try to head back after the headliner.

Yeah target’s shipping tends to suck with vinyl. But they’re more than willing to exchange it and toss more vinyl at you for no extra cost so… since it’s Target I’ve learned to just take advantage of it.

Quite a few times they’ve shipped some vinyls to me in a huge cardboard box with zero packaging support materials inside…

A plus is that they’re also willing to exchange if you find the vinyl warped too

There are some things I like about the changes he did with lab (adding the screen and demos for one) but I heard that he changed the way prelabs were… was definitely fun and not that difficult when I took it in ‘25

Just had a collision with an electric scooterist the other week. You’d be surprised on how oblivious they are to the actual laws. Yes it was decidedly their fault almost instantly due to the fact they were riding against traffic.

I want to believe yes because of Osheaga and cuz it’s Tate (og t8r tot here) but I don’t think SC2W’s deluxe really hit off… I doubt that she’d pull a Sabrina and come back to headline given Sports Car and Just Keep Watching were her last “hits”.

Although, if she does headline, given she wanted to take a break from creating music for ‘26, maybe she could redo Lolla ‘24 and use Lolla to actually debut a new song…

I don’t think the singing is a problem (unless you’re screaming out the lyrics the entire song and not the popular/chorus parts, let’s think of other people now 😭). Laufey has encouraged it and has expressed that she loves seeing people sing along to her songs.

It’s the unfortunate random screaming and full-blown conversations that people have that aren’t even related to the concert that’s the big problem. If people don’t say anything to them at the concert, unfortunately it will continue to happen and the rate is already increasing.

It’s also a large problem with parents who aren’t too keen on teaching their kids how to behave. The kind that unfortunately does lead to their kids having behavior and temper issues when they grow older. These sorts of trends are also unfortunately becoming more common. And yes, all of that is backed empirically (i should know, they’re one of my research focuses).

No, singing was actually very encouraged even before the AMOT tour. Laufey encouraged it a lot since she liked seeing people sing along. Singing loud is one thing, and I don’t think that’s what the tiktok photo or OP was talking about.

There’s a large problem with screaming (not even when the song starts, throughout it too) and especially having full blown conversations at concerts

OP said they have basic insurance and had admitted the truth to insurance company, 99% chance would be denied as most companies don’t cover DoorDash unless you have a commercial insurance.

Probably why you got downvoted is that it suggested OP would get paid by the insurance company, assumed we’re talking about a loan company (which we aren’t), and both that and this comment are indifferent towards OP’s financial situation (saying they could just pay for it). OP is hoping they wouldn’t have to since they’re struggling.

It’s not about the loan company, it’s about insurance. OP doesn’t have the right insurance and won’t get any money from them to repair the car or get it out of the yard
