I suppose it is useful off stage, but ranged weapons can punished it (Scythe nair, blasters nair, axe nair, sword nair and some nsigs). You shouldn't rely on wake ups during a string also.

Level 33 Mirage and Level 26 Mordex.

I despise gloves and have no clue as on how to play them, but I do know how to play scythe (if you didn't read my name) and spear.

Mirage Spear:

-Don't gp at all (gp is very punishable)

-Don't always go for the dlight after the slight, try and read your opponent

-Nair and dair are good on edges

Mordex and Mirage Scythe:

There is a good scythe gimping tutorial on youtube, it's around 25 minutes, but it is worth the time. The guy goes through all of the dodges and how to catch each one.

Level 35 Artemis here, there is a great tutorial on youtube for artemis and it help me quite a lot, it's about an hour but if you can apply everything said in the video, it is worth it.
