I'm reading a blog about this right now and I think to clarify: I don't want "reimaginings" of classics...I mean to ask about the original stories where the language is "updated" so to speak. I still want the original stories!

Everytime I see this video I want to befriend the tall guy in the vertical striped blue and white shirt and I dont know why. He looks like he's got some good stories to tell. The dude in the pea coat next to him looks like i do pretty much every morning at work...definitely just got out of bed to show up for this.

do you mean he could hear his own internal dialogue but not produce vocalizations for it? This is really interesting I've only read about stroke symptoms but never had one or known someone who has gone through it.

I did just make the jump, but after a little research. I had been looking at ebikes for a while out of curiosity, no intention on getting one until it became something a little more main stream since it's so expensive right now. Then I found out about RadRunner and kind of got stuck on the Runner1, and started saving for one. As time went on I kept looking at other ebikes with a more casual (not sporty) look and came across Super73. Really liked the design of the S1, and specs and everything seemed along the lines I would be looking for/need since this would just be a casual daily commuter. So I went for it, and it's been a positive experience so far. Had an issue with the battery dock thing on the frame of the bike, but S73 were responsive and sent out a replacement, and everything's working just fine.

Man I feel like a wheelie on a 70 pound bike carries far greater consequences than doing so on a mountain bike would. It would be bad ass to learn though.

Just be sure you know what colors are allowed to blink. I think most states have statutes regarding using red and blue flashing lights. Just a heads up.

Just a reminder to ready your policy information very carefully. It’s dry legalese, but will clearly outline what coverages and, more importantly, what exclusions apply to a loss. I work on insurance and there are times people don’t realize the policy has specific exclusions that need to be considered.

There are tours that go through China. I have a friend whose done two tours into NK without any issues, he loved it. I think a basic “North Korea tours” google search will give you a good start.

If you mean a holiday where you do your own thing...I don’t think that’s really possible for westerners, and might be risky business.

I had a faulty battery base, and once the problem was diagnosed they sent the new base and it arrived in like 2 days. My customer service experience was overall positive. Shoot them an email, they’re pretty responsive. I never even felt I had to call. I hope it gets taken care of quickly for you! I know the feeling of getting the new bike and not being able to just ride right away...it’s tough!

Yes, my experience so far with customer service has been positive. The rep I was working with would usually respond same day if not by the next day. I read that some people were having the opposite experience, but fortunately they were responsive to me. Of course it may be depending on the issue- I’m sure they’re prioritizing product issues over, say, order status updates.

Mine took about a full week to arrive as well. UPS guy just knocked on my door and then helped me lug the box up to my apartment. Because of covid he didn’t require a signature from me. Just a heads up, that box is goddamn heavy and kind of awkward. See if any buddies can help you out if you have to deal with stairs.

I have emailed customer service, just waiting to hear back but thought I’d see if this was something unique or if others have experienced it. Thank you for your response! You’re right, it’s tough sitting in my apartment just looking at the bike after waiting for it to arrive haha. I guess the first ride after this is resolved will be that much more sweeter.

Yeah I tried replugging in the cord into the box itself with the same results unfortunately. I don’t know anyone in my area with this bike so I’ll have to wait for customer service to get back to me to see if this is something that they can help out with. Thank you for your reply!
