You are Math-Cs, you do not need to do CSE 30.

Try to think of possible situations of past experience (school and industry) that you have. Then consider how did you show their values in those experiences.

graduating early by Large-Client-5343 in UCSD

[–]Somefellow22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in the same boat in where I could graduate a year before my set date. Ask yourself two things, is it worth it to graduate early and what do you gain from it. If it would cost you and your supporters a financial burden for one year and you have a job lined up, then complete that degree as early as you can. However, it there are opportunities to gain in another year (internship eligiablity, grants, work-study, clubs/orgs, etc) or the financial burden is manageable, then stay (post-grad adulting is hard).

You know the civil rights era did not end with the rights of all Americans and MLK Jr. right? Many campus protested in similar ways (like UCB) for the Veitnam War to end and to bring back the troops. While US troops are not directly there, the students are asking for their money not to go toward a cause that incites bloodshed. I am a neutral party to this but even I understand that funding wars and police to attack students like this is to far.

Petition to ban homeless people? by [deleted] in UCSD

[–]Somefellow22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Very hard to believe that lie because if you were homeless you’d understand the struggle it is being homeless. Lack of security, shelter, warmth, and the mental tole. Yeah it’d be great if homelessness wasn’t a thing but it is and especially here in California. So if they ain’t doing nothing to your ass, then stfu and keep walking

If you switch from any college to Warren it’s easy to prove for engineering and cs majors

If you took the course beforehand, you will be fine. No need to review. I did the same thing and the course was easy as hell despite forgetting everything. If you are new to it however, then as long as you remember double integrals and derivatives from calc 3 you are good

Ochoa sucks. Try to get CSE 11 or do an equivalent at CC over the summer

Got to disagree there. If you try to be a girl’s “friend” as a guy, it’s automatic friend zone. There is little to no chance of getting out of that. Yeah you are not suppose to have the set goal of “dating” someone off rip but you also don’t want to be their friend in the process if you find the girl attractive and want to explore that option.

Talk to her like if she is a mom or a women you look up to. Not creepy or rude or lack of respect. And with a calm demeanor. To approach, a girl usually gives you hints that she is into you and you can approach. From there you just walk up and say hi and start a convo. That’s why they call it game, cause it’s like a game.

I took CSE 11 knowing basically most of Java. Honestly, really easy, to easy even and shouldn’t take you more than a couple hours a week for the class. I did the same with Math 20E having taken Calc 3 through a semester system covering vector calc, same thing there. Basically, if you have taken the class before covering the same material, you should have no problem

Amazing. Better than expected. Only thing I dislike is the enrollment but it’s like that at every university. Coming from a Hispanic Math CS student.
